The Definition of a Writer: Writing Prompt


Hey Guys & welcome back. Not long ago, I thought up this quote and it really got the wheels to turning. I figured, why not turn this into a writing prompt? Admittedly, sci-fi wasn't the direction I was trying to go in when I wrote this, but here's the prompt:

Tell me what you do for a living (or aspire to do) in a way that could be used as an idea for a paranormal story. Got it? This should be good 😊 Please, feel free to share your responses below. I'd love to read them. Happy Writing!

Things I Love That Aren't Writing

It's no secret that I love to write. Ever since I was a little girl I created elaborate stories in my head. As a result, I played with dolls much longer than I'll ever admit to here (shout-out to all the innocents). But when I'm not writing there's no lack of things for me to enjoy. I'm sharing some of my loves here in hopes that you'll do the same - lets get to know each other better.  1. My Family - If you follow me on social media, you've probably figured out that I love my family. There is nothing I rather do than spend time with my loved ones. I've been unspeakably blessed to have some really great people in my life and I don't take it for granted. Without a doubt, my #1 favorite thing to so is create memories with those that I love.  2. Houses. I love historic houses, new builds, unique domains, and off the grid residences. I simply LOVE homes. Why I Lean Towards Self-Publishing a Little More Each Day

./''/ Even before I decided to seriously peruse writing, I dreamed of being a traditionally published author. I wanted nothing more than to be signed to one of the big named publishing houses - but recently, that's all changed.  Don't get me wrong, if the opportunity ever presents itself (in the right way) I'll hop on it, but it's no longer my "dream".
